Most support for anxious young people focuses on understanding - explaining what anxiety is, why it happens, how the nervous system works. Understanding matters. But understanding alone doesn’t help a teenager at 8am on a Monday morning when everything feels overwhelming.

The Coral Garlick Method™ goes further.

Developed through clinical training in CBT, positive psychology and coaching, and refined through clinical experience working with young people and their families, it combines these disciplines into a practical, personalised approach. The Coral Garlick Method gives young people tools they can use in real life to calm anxiety, manage overthinking and feel more confident every day.

I design a bespoke programme for each client, tailoring my unique approach to your individual needs.  My method focuses on building confidence, resilience and purpose using a combination of evidence-based techniques.  

I believe our children all need their own personalised toolbox of strategies to navigate life’s inevitable challenges. Our work together is collaborative, integrating mental health strategies with self-awareness and self-esteem tools.


Using a strengths-based approach I empower my clients to be proud of and believe in who they are.  Where appropriate, I adopt a holistic approach, engaging with families, schools and broader support networks.
